Over the summer, Mountain Dew partnered with KFC to release the exclusive Sweet Lightning, described as having a punch of peach and touch of honey flavors. While we are stoked about this potential new sip, you might remember that we already got a peach flavor this year. “Happy Dew Year is an upcoming Mountain Dew flavor that will be officially released in stores on December 16th, 2019 and until at the end of 2019 or in early 2020, in the United States as a limited-edition flavor for the New Year’s season 2019-2020,” Mountain Dew Wiki wrote. The New Year’s-themed drink is bright orange with a purple label decorated in celebration of 2020. The rumors first started circulating on Reddit months ago, and the Mountain Dew community doesn’t mess around about potential new flavors. The brand is reportedly releasing Happy Dew Year, a peach-flavored soda, for the 2019 holiday season.
